Bulls in Bloom!
It's hard to believe we're heading into the last week in April and Easter has come and gone! With the leaves just about sprouting on the trees and the blossoms finally in full swing, we're hoping that the cold Winter and Spring we've had means one thing - a hot (read warm) Summer!
The last number of weeks have seen a multitude of achievements in sports here in Clontarf, from swimming to taekwondo, to Rugby!
Clontarf Rugby Club has been a particular hub of excitement over the last number of weeks with the Senior team securing their place in the Ulster Bank League semi-final, the J2's taking home the Albert O' Connell Cup and of course, the launch of the brand new team - The Clontarf
Bulls! More on this below.
The CRA have also shared two important updates with us this month: info on the current state of the Historic Tram Shelter and the closure of the Clontarf Road Post Office. We encourage all residents to read these updates.
Finally, our video team headed down to Belgrove Senior Boys' School to capture a fantastic song 'as Gaeilge' the lads had been practising for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Be sure to watch the video and see if you can spot any familiar faces!
As always, we love hearing from you, our readers. So if you have a photo or story, you’d like to share with us email them into us at info@clontarf.ie!
Until next time!
