Roses in July for You...
July is here and that means one thing here in Clontarf - the St. Anne's Rose Festival is back! The 2017 Festival will take place this Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th of July. Festivities take place from 10 am to 6 pm both days.
In other local news, we were delighted to sit down with local man Paddy Armstrong to discuss his memoir 'Life after Life'. Paddy is an inspiring character and his book is absolutely incredible. Watch the video we produced here - we can guarantee you'll want to pick up a copy afterwards!
We also have a very important cause we'd like to draw your attention to. Last month we received information about local man Gordon McKay who, as a result of a perforated colon, is now paralysed from the neck down. Gordon's friends and family are rallying together to try and help get him back on his feet and improve his quality of life via fundraising. We would urge all readers to donate what they can - more information can be found here.
There are a number of fantastic events taking place locally over the Summer, including Yoga for Make a Wish on the Seafront and the 50th Anniversary of The Grove. Be sure to keep an eye on our events page to keep up to date!
That's all from us for now!
