Remember remember, Road Closures in November

Halloween has come and gone, the clocks have gone back and the days are getting shorter and shorter. There's no doubt that Winter is on it's way!

We're coming to the end of the S2S road resurfacing works on the Clontarf Road with the final road closures and diversions set to be completed by midnight Sunday 27th November. Over the next two weeks we would like to reminder our readers that while the road may be closed - the businesses along this stretch are not. So make sure to show your support for these businesses, including Kinara, Bay, Fishbone, Mark Stevens Barbers, Yangs, and Kanoodle who are all supporters of Clontarf.ie and who have special offers in place for the duration of the works. The 130 Bus is also being diverted until the road closures are complete. More information on this can be found below.

There are a host of great events coming up this month too including The Clontarf Players performance of 'Drama at Inish' at the Sean O'Casey Theatre Thursday 24th - Saturday 26th. The end of November will see (dare we say it) the first signs of Christmas in Clontarf with the 'Lighting Up' ceremony at the Castle and the Christmas Ball in aid of Nandri. We would also like to remind our readers on the upcoming Clontarf Residents' Association AGM, this Tuesday 22nd November, find out more below.

As always, we love to hear about local news and events and receiving your great photos of Clontarf. So if you have something you'd like to share, please get in touch with us by emailing info@clontarf.ie or visiting our Facebook page!

Until next time,

The Clontarf.ie Team
